DESCRIPTION:

Every coach is hearing about AI right now — but most of what's out there is hype, not evidence. Olivier cuts through the noise with a research-backed synthesis of what AI coaching actually does, where it works, where it doesn't, and the necessary ethical guardrails.

Then things get hands-on. Olivier will walk through real use cases — including how AI is already functioning as an AI coaching support tool — before guiding you through building your own personal AI coaching tool, live, during the session. You will use your preferred AI tool such as Claude or ChatGPT, and learn how to integrate external tools directly within it. No coding background needed. You'll leave not only understanding AI coaching but also with a working tool in hand.

How do you bring your authentic self to coaching and still demonstrate the MCC qualities of being with the human you are coaching? "Everyone who develops mastery starts off in a beginner's mind. And those who continue to evolve masterfully stay in the beginner's mind the whole of their lives." Let’s discuss the fundamentals of coaching and how to use the ICF competencies as the launching point for mastery. Once you integrate your understanding, you then have the freedom to dance in your coaching conversations. Supporting your clients to explore transformational places. Observe a 20-minute coaching demonstration. Linking the coach’s questions to the MCC BARS and PCC Markers. Afterward, break out into groups to debrief the coaching demonstration with each other. Then, come back and pick Lyssa’s mind for her choice points. Make connections between the questions and the competencies.

Explore what FULL Partnership means. Deepen your understanding of the competencies. See how the coaching container weaves the competencies: agreement setting, building trust, coaching presence, listening actively, evoking awareness, and facilitating growth. SPEAKER BIOS:

Kelly Kent, PhD.
Kelly Kent is a neuroscientist that connects her passion for the brain with all of her work, including as a school board member, corporate creativity consultant, business-owner, speaker, and her hardest job of them all, parent.

Since she completed her Ph.D. in the molecular mechanisms of stroke recovery in 2011, Kelly has been taking her experience and expertise garnered at higher educational institutions and applying them to the real world around her. While on the one hand, Kelly was pursuing her post-graduate work in autism at the University of Southern California, she was also simultaneously teaching and mentoring graduate and undergraduate students. Kelly taught psychology undergraduate students at Moorpark College in Simi Valley and currently teaches neurobiology to psychotherapy graduate students at Antioch University in Culver City.

The application of neuroscience to everyday life became her primary focus when Kelly co-founded adaptED Consultants. Through adaptED, Kelly has grown a company that uses neuroscience to provide tools to drive individual and organizational growth. This is accomplished by aligning corporate work cultures with how the brain functions optimally, training leaders to manage with the brain in mind and helping organizations determine their own “brain-based” best practices.

Realizing the important role that coaches play in the organizational development and professional development world, Kelly approached Master Certified Coach, Hayden Lee to propose a neuroscience of coaching training program. With recognition of the value each respective field plays in enhancing human and organizational potential, Master Mind Institute was born.

Words have the power to shape not only our perception of reality, but also how we engage with the world around us. In this 90-minute experiential workshop, attendees will explore how the vocabulary coaches and clients use can foster a spirit of curiosity and action. Ultimately, the goal with our clients is to co-create an accessible map they’re excited to use, not an overwhelming obstacle course they’re never able to start.

Participants will experiment with techniques to help clients strategically choose what to put on their map. They’ll learn to harness language as a tool for cultivating a more proactive, goal-oriented mindset, and for helping clients recognize blind spots and gaps in their planning. In this interactive session, we’ll explore how coaches can become more “grief-literate” — understanding the many faces of grief beyond death and learning how to skillfully support clients through emotional transitions without overstepping into therapy. Participants will gain practical language, tools, and reflective practices to recognize grief when it appears, hold space with compassion, and stay grounded in ethical coaching boundaries.
