Join us on June 24th, 2021 at 12:00pm CST for an interactive workshop with: 

  • Sackeena Gordon-Jones, PhD. MCC where we will discuss Cultural Intelligence, Coaching Competencies, and the Coach.

Session Description: How does cultural intelligence and sensitivity impact coaching relationships, goal attainment, and the personal growth of the coach? We will explore the intra-personal work of the coach in developing awareness and cultivating proficiencies necessary for transformational coaching.

  • Develop a reflective practice to enhance coaching across differences

Sackeena Gordon-Jones, Ph.D., MCC, is a leadership development expert, author, coach trainer, executive coach, personal and mentor coach. Sackeena’s clients include executives, sr. leaders, physicians, faculty, military officers, family owned businesses and leadership teams.  Her work with leaders often focuses on succession planning, leadership agility, authentic leadership, expanding leadership capacity, leading through change, diversity and inclusion, work-life integration, culture change and emotional intelligence.  Her approach gives leaders the edge to transform the way they think, lead, work and live.

Sackeena serves as the chief coaching officer for Transformation Edge Coaching & Consulting, an organization that provides Coaching, Consulting, Training and Speaking services, to help leaders and organizations create a thriving work environment with improved bottom-line results. Sackeena has extensive international, multi-cultural, and diverse industry experience. As director and coach educator of the Transformation and Business Coach Institute, she has developed and delivered leadership and coach training programs throughout North America, Europe and Asia.  She leads the Business and Professional Coaching Certificate Program; an open-enrollment program for coaches, leaders, consultants, clinicians, psychologist, and professionals who are pursuing their coaching credentials.  Sackeena also leads the Coaching in Organization Certificate Program, for internal coaches pursuing certification and credentialing. Additionally, she provides mentor coaching for coaches pursuing their credentials, setting up their practice or coaching internally.

A leader in the coaching field, Sackeena was a past-president of ICF Raleigh, Past- Chair of ICF Southeast Region and Past Director of ICF’s new Global Board, ‘Coaching in Organizations, as well as, the Association of Coach Training Organizations (ACTO). Sackeena currently serves on the editorial board of Choice Magazine for coaches.
