Program description:
This course introduces coaches to the importance of Intercultural Competence and Communication, how culture is formed and its dimensions. Participants will gain understanding and insight into how their coaching practices can be more inclusive.

Speakers:
Rose-marie Fernandez, M.A., CPC-PCC
Rose-marie Fernandez, M.A., CPC-PCC, has enjoyed an adventurous career that spans four decades in the Human Resources field, holding senior executive positions across various sectors. Her professional journey has taken her to several countries, including Malaysia, Greece, Canada, and the US, where she has worked on projects and assignments in Consulting and Facilitation in Human Development. This diverse experience led to her specific interest in Intercultural Communications and Coaching.
With a robust background in HR, Rose-marie is a CHRL (HRPAO) and holds a PCC certification from ICF (2015). She also has a Certificate in Race, Culture, and Empowerment and is certified in several modalities that she incorporates into her practice to evoke changes in mindset, creating self-awareness and culminating in self-mastery, including a Master Certification in the Cultural Orientations Framework COF™.
Rose-marie is committed to utilizing her resources to create environments where people gain a deep understanding of each other, aiming to live a life of abundance.
Lisa MacVicar
CMP, WELL AP + Faculty, CPC-ACC
Lisa MacVicar, CMP, WELL AP + Faculty, CPC-ACC, has devoted the majority of her 33-year career to Consulting, Coaching, Design, and Workplace Strategy. Over the years, she has developed a multidisciplinary approach to guide organizations as they navigate complex psychosocial challenges.
She holds certificates in Diversity & Inclusion, Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace, and Performance Leadership. Lisa is an ICF-certified coach and a Prosci-certified Change Management Practitioner. As a WELL AP, WELL Faculty, and WELL Advisor, she focuses on physical and psychosocial interventions through the certification process. Additionally, she is a Program Development Advisor for the University of British Columbia for their Equity, Diversity & Inclusion certificate. She also co-teaches for the University of Toronto’s Rotman Executive Program in Inclusion by Design, specifically the leadership workshop for Innovating DEI.
Lisa has also held volunteer positions as DEI Co-Director on the ICF Toronto Board of Directors, served on the ARIDO DEI Foundation committee, and Deloitte’s National & Global DEI committees. While at Deloitte, she published two papers on Well-being and ESG.
