.25 Core Competency and .75 Resource Development CCEs

Session Description:  Podcasting is a dynamic tool for expanding your personal brand and income potential. Whether your goal is to launch your own podcast or to utilize the influence of podcast guesting, it's crucial to comprehend the key components that contribute to the success of this medium. We'll delve into the fundamental aspects to ponder from both the hosting and guesting perspectives.

As a podcast host, you'll need to make several considerations regarding the format, target audience, content, consistency, platforms, and strategies for optimizing your reach.

If the idea of hosting a podcast seems daunting, you can still harness the potency of podcasting by making appearances as a guest. We will guide you on how to become an exceptional podcast guest that can attract, engage, and convert clients. Being a guest entails several factors, such as catching the interest of podcast hosts, delivering captivating interviews, building a fanbase, promoting your features, and nurturing relationships.

Learning Objectives:

1. Participants will understand the potential of podcasting as a tool for personal brand development and income growth and recognize its key components for success.

2. They will learn how to plan and host a podcast, including decisions related to format, target audience, content, consistency, and platform selection, as well as strategies to maximize reach.

3. Attendees will master the art of guesting on podcasts by discovering how to attract the attention of podcast hosts to delivering engaging interviews.

4. They will develop skills to cultivate a loyal audience, promote your podcast appearances, and build sustainable relationships with listeners.

5. Attendees will better understand how to utilize the podcasting platform—whether as a host or a guest—to attract, engage, and convert clients effectively.
